Job Title : Dispatch Clerk

Location : Dorval

Our client in the Transport Industry, specializing in LTL intermodal trucking for Canada ground shipments for over 40 years.

They have over 40 terminals across Canada and now their Dorval terminal is looking to add a Dispatcher to their team.

Advantages

Full time position Monday-Friday

40 hour work week

Starting at 7am to 4pm

Hourly pay between 22-25$ / hr depending on experience

On Randstad payroll to start, weekly pay, once permanent :

Salary revisions

5% bonus of salary paid yearly

Medical / Dental / Vision insurances after probations period

RSP program, match up to 5%

Responsibilities

• tracing drivers
• contact customer service team for any issues
• reporting to a planner
• print drivers itinerary
• create daily trips, attach orders for each driver in the system
• planning the following day (availability of drivers)
• monitoring day to day emails
• updating clients on delivery status, return status
• dispatch for 12 drivers

Qualifications

Knowledge of LTL

Bilingual in English and French is required

Minimum 1-year work experience in related field

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Knowledge of AS400

Organized and reliable
