Arcadis' Toronto West office is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to join its growing team.

Role accountabilities :
- Design and engineer industrial systems such as compressed air, lubrication, fueling system
- Ability to express design intent as concept drawings or sketches
- Computerized analysis of heating and cooling loads
- Design and engineer building related systems such as HVAC, process exhaust, hydronics, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, etc.
- Design and machine installation utilities
- Conceptualize and Prepare industrial layouts
- Develop and write engineering study reports
- Know applicable codes and apply to design development
- Energy analysis using computer modeling
- Verification of and compliance with energy standard
- Responsible for production of construction documents and construction administration for projects
- Develop man-hours for proposal estimates
- Make technical presentation to clients
- Develop business with current and new clients
- Involvement in engineering societies
- Coordination of staffing needs for projects
- Provide technical training / education to staff
