About the role
We’re looking for a Manager, Group FP&A to join our growing team!
Reporting to the Director Group FP&A, you will be responsible to provide insights to senior management to evaluate the financial performance of our global operations.
People will count on you to consolidate, analyze and present financial information and participate in various analyses which will be used by senior management in their decision-making.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Produce comprehensive reporting packages for senior management including financial, underwriting and weather-related data.
- Coordinate and lead the preparation of the CFO Q&A.
- Communicate with various stakeholders to obtain information pertaining to their functional areas including the various FP&A teams within each country.
- Challenge and understand the information received from each area and ensure proper messaging internally and externally.
- Ensure issues amongst the various area are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
- Lead and consolidate work pertaining to industry outperformance and CAT guidance.
- Work on various special projects and ad-hoc requests, including developments of key performance indicators.
- Participate in the development of the analyst reporting to the manager.
REQUIREMENTS :
- CPA designation
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Strategic thinking, strong analytical ability and very well organized
- Ability to create and maintain a network within current and possible stakeholders
- Be able to clearly communicate the outcome of an analysis and present it in a concise, accurate and effective manner to senior management.
- Be autonomous, proactive and have strong teamwork skills
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- Proficiency in excel and PowerPoint
