POSITION : Financial Controller SME

LOCATION : Montreal

SCHEDULE : hybrid

SALARY : 80-100 K

Our client is looking for a controller with responsibility for the entire financial function - accounting and FP&A.

If you see yourself as a partner to management, are familiar with the full accounting cycle and have experience of budgeting and cash flow, you are an ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities

As an SME Financial Controller, you will be in charge of all aspects of accounting, treasury and financial analysis.

You will have 2 people to supervise.

Main responsibilities :

  • full accounting cycle, financial statements (monthly), reports for CEO and investor
  • Budget preparation
  • cash flow monitoring - cash flow forecasts and discussions with banks (credit facilities)
  • credit monitoring for customers and AP side
  • supervise and train 2 people

Qualifications

For this SME financial controller role, we are looking for :

  • BAC in accounting or CPA
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role
  • bilingualism (active in the US and Canada)
  • someone who enjoys training and improving processes
