Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join one of our client's dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, locate, and store products within the warehouse.
This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments with precision while ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and order picking.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Should have at least 1 year experience of operating REACH, COUNTERBALANCE
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is required; experience with clamp trucks is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) as necessary.
- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
