Forklift Shipper Receiver

Are you ready to elevate your Forklift Shipper / Receiver career? We're seeking a skilled Forklift Shipper / Receiver to join our Mississauga-based chemical manufacturing client team .

As a vital member of our operations, you'll be at the forefront of efficiency and safety, ensuring our materials and products are handled with precision and care.

Shift : 8 am to 4 : 30 pm- 30 mins paid break and 15 mins X 2

Pay Rate : $21 : 00 - $23.00 / Hr - Based on experience

Benefits : Basic Dental and Health for employee and 2 weeks paid vacation after 6 months

Location : Main intersection Derry Road and Millcreek dr. Mississauga

Raymond Reach experience and Valid forklift licence required.

Permanent Placement

50 % picking , packing, shipping ( using computer for shipments ) -50 % forklift ( Raymond Reach )

Must have basic computer skills

Duties include :

• Driving the Reach forklift
• picking and packing
• Use of AAA currier service experience an asset
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs ( will have assistance if needed)
• Must be detail oriented
• physical position
• Must print labels , put them on boxes and move boxes
• 50% Computer work ( must be comfortable working on a computer )
• processing
• Billing
• Use pick slips
• 360 position -will do all around warehouse role with Forklift .

Responsibilities

• Make sure incoming goods are received accurately and all necessary paperwork is in order.
• Safely ship out chemical products, making sure to follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Get customer orders ready by efficiently selecting the right stock.
• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy, and help out with general maintenance tasks.
• Work with carriers to get pricing and schedule shipments.
• Take care of printing product labels and bills of lading with precision.
• Stick to safety guidelines to keep everyone safe on the job.
• Find ways to make processes better and more efficient.
• Team up with coworkers to get things done smoothly.
• Pay close attention to detail to avoid mistakes and keep quality high.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• High school diploma
• Raymond Reach experience required Minimum 1 year
• No students
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience .
