Position Summary :

Reporting to the Clinic Manager, a RN / RPN is a qualified individual assigned area as required by individualized clinic and patient needs and according to dependent and independent nursing functions while adhering to recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of practical nursing, under the direction of a Physician or Registered Nurse.

What you will be doing :

Our ideal candidate would be proactive, a quick learner an excellent communicator, can identify solutions in complex business environment in a customer friendly and timely manner.

The following list of duties pertain but not limit to, your role ExecHealth as an RN / RPN.

Nursing :

  • Placing patients in exam rooms
  • Patient triage, new patient assessments
  • Using electronic medical records
  • General measurements (BP, height, weight, spo2, temperature).
  • Venipuncture
  • Dressings
  • Suture removal
  • Acting as chaperone for doctors when required
  • Assisting with PAP tests, vaginal swabs
  • 12 lead ECG
  • Urinalysis
  • Occupational Health Services Corporate clients
  • Regular training for clinical emergencies e.g. basic life support, anaphylaxis, acute asthma, epileptic fits
  • Ensuring sterilization of equipment
  • Maintaining temperature control records for vaccine fridge
  • Monitoring hygiene in the practice
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety Regulations
  • Adhere to all Public Health regulations

Administration :

  • Assisting with new patient records
  • Relaying results to assigned caseload of patients
  • Monitoring the clinic's computerized health care targets and working towards achieving them
  • Maintaining clinic medical supplies and ensuring each exam room is properly stocked
  • Assisting with general office administration work including telephone answering, retrieving patients’ messages, faxing, pulling charts, filing
  • Organizing supplies
  • Scanning, maintaining computer records.
  • Attend and make contributions at clinic meetings and training sessions

You Have :

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Training and current registration as an RPN,
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and e-mail required,
  • Bilingual : French / English preferred
  • OSCAR PRO EMR experience is an asset.
  • CPR Certified.
  • As per the RPNAO, RPN’s practicing in the province of Ontario also require proof of Professional Liability Insurance.

The salary offered for this position falls within a specified salary range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific needs of the organization.

Salary Range : $25-$30 per hour
