Ability to reliably commute to our Vaughan office and arrive on time is a must. Flexible with work hours, including potential overtime and partial weekends (Saturday or Sunday) is highly preferred.
Possibility of hybrid role after probationary period if excellent performer.
As a Procurement Associate, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for assisting in the acquisition of goods and services essential for our company's operations.
Under the supervision of the Customer Success Manager the duties and responsibilities of the Procurement Associate include, but are not limited to, the following :
Perform precise data entry and maintain accurate records.
Conduct online procurement tasks for 4-6 hours per day.
Create and manage purchase orders according to business requirements.
Provide support to customer service tasks as necessary.
Utilize strong computer skills and attention to detail for daily responsibilities.
Organize, plan, and prioritize tasks effectively to manage workload.
Identify opportunities for workflow improvement and spot errors in the system to enhance operations.
Communicate and interact professionally with suppliers from around the world.
Follow all safety rules / codes and alert team lead or management of health and safety concerns.
What do you need to succeed?
Ability to adapt quickly to procedural changes when needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving goals.
High proficiency in G Suite software, particularly Google Sheets.
Precise and efficient data entry skills.
Experience in relevant industries such as customer service, data entry, or order fulfillment.
Familiarity with online marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Abebooks is a plus
Work safely, productively and accurately with minimal supervision
