Brymark Installations Group Inc. is a prominent player in the industry and we are seeking an experienced Intermediate Estimator to be a part of our team.

Position : Intermediate Estimator

Location : Porth Coquitlam

Type : Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities :

• Prepare detailed estimates for projects that involve multiple disciplines. This includes determining the necessary materials, assessing potential risks, and analyzing labor productivity.
• Review project specifications and contract documents for construction management and large lump sum projects.
• Create RFQ / RFP packages and select the most competitive pricing from subtrades and vendors.
• Develop conceptual and budget estimates based on historical data and benchmarking.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and trade contractors.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities for projects and suggest strategies for cost-saving.
• Develop and update construction schedules and workforce loading documents.
• Provide support to the construction execution team as needed.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Postsecondary diploma or degree in a related discipline or Technical School certification
• Gold Seal Certified, LEED Accredited, and other relevant certifications are assets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Adobe / Bluebeam
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, On-Screen Takeoff, and HCSS
• Industrial site experience with pipefitting, ironworking, and millwright trades
• Understanding of structural steel, mechanical equipment, and piping erection best practices
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to read and understand construction / engineering documents
