Position will be based in Eastern Canada but will be responsible for company field service programs for all of Canada. This position is the direct contact between the company, our customers for service, training and parts matters.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the day to day service operations for MQ Construction and Power Generation Equipment , scheduling customer training, customer inquiries and reporting / monitoring of product issues in the field, to include troubleshooting.
  • Acts as a liaison with customers, MQ service centers and MQ Product Managers to identify technical problems within assigned product group, and report on technical problems on unassigned products.
  • Responsible for reporting customer contact information, service issues, region activity, call reports and itineraries through OnContact and Outlook
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the MQ Authorized Service Center network in assigned region.
  • Responsible for product warranty claims within territory : inspection, verification and authorization.
  • Assists in the development of training material for assigned products
  • Provides timely and accurate information to Product Managers using Market Information reporting system
  • Assists with creation and review process of service bulletins, FAQ, Parts / Operation Manuals and service instructions

Qualifications

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

  • Ability to travel (Up to 80% of time); company vehicle provide.
  • 3-5 years of related electrical, hydraulic and mechanical experience and / or training with large to mid-size construction equipment and equipment manufactures.
  • Must be fluent speaking in both English and in French.
  • Ability to read, analyze electrical and hydraulic schematics, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures.
  • Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence emails, and procedure instructions.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must hold a valid driver’s license and Passport

Travel Requirements

Travel is a major requirement of this position. In addition to scheduling regular customer visits, and must have the flexibility to meet demands for unscheduled travel.

Ability to travel by vehicle or air up to 80% of the time is required.

Office days may be scheduled, but regular travel throughout the territory is required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary $90,000k USD
