Aerotek is hiring a Red Seal Millwright - open to 4th years

Description :

• We are a manufacturing company that builds large machinery to the forestry industry.
• Millwrights will be assembling these heavy machines.
• Millwright will be using overhead cranes and hydraulic lifts and will be working with bearing assembling, gear boxes, and drives
• Hydraulic and pneumatic assembly
• Millwright will also be doing repair work on the machineries that we have sold.
• Repair and tearing apart - putting it back together with seals and barring there is not electrical work
• Machines will be on the pulp and paper equipment side
• Assembling machines for the chippers and other forestry equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Must Haves :

1) Red Seal or Journeyman Ticket Millwright

2) Minimum of 5 years experience

3) 2+ years experience in assembly or manufacturing machinery

Like to have :

1) Gear boxes experience

2) Hydraulics experience

3) Heavy equipment experience

4) Pump repair experience

Work Environment

This is a Union shop with about 12 machinist in the shop and 4 millwrights. There are about 10 machines. Majority of the guys have been either working there for 10+ years or less than 2.

This shop is considered to be a team environment that is laid back where they do not give high pressure on production.

Day Shift- 6 : 30am-3pm

Monday - Friday

Wage : $44
