We are looking to hire a Red Seal Millwright for a manufacturing plant in Langley.

This will be a rotating shift with the following schedule :

  • Graveyard – Sunday to Thursday 11PM to 7AM
  • Morning – Monday to Friday 7AM to 5PM
  • Afternoon – Monday to Friday 3PM to 11PM

    • Your tasks as a Red Seal Millwright :

  • Routine maintenance and repair on all Plant equipment including but not limited to; pulpers, extruders, thermo-forming machines, printers, padders, screw compressors, pumps, fans and blower
  • Tool changes and machine setup
  • Welding, lathe & milling work
  • Support machine operator
  • Troubleshoot and maintain the plant’s electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems
  • Working on Conveyors, PLC, assisted control panels, gearboxes, pumps (water, HVAC)

    • The required qualifications of a Red Seal Millwright :

  • Red Seal Millwright Certification
  • Manufacturing and pulp & paper industry asset
  • Physically fit
  • Ability to work morning and graveyard shift
  • PLC experience is an asset
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Welding, lathe & milling work
