Janitor / Maintenance Technician

We have a new career opportunity for one FT / 40 hours per week, Janitor / Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as cleaner / janitor experience as well as basic maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Maintains the building interior and exterior which include completing minor and major janitorial duties.

Maintains all building washrooms in good working condition and cleanliness. Will be able to do minor repairs or work with contractor to have fixed asap

Ensures the maintenance of all buildings and the lot and parking lots, by picking up and disposing of all office and outside trash.

Ensures equipment, electrical, plumbing and heating are operational by conducting regular inspections.

Monitors necessary inventory levels for washrooms and kitchen and places orders with manager as needed.

Educational / Experience Requirements

Previous Janitorial / maintenance experience required

Working knowledge of maintenance equipment

Must be a self-starter and take initiative

Ability to work independently

Heavy lifting required

Criminal Record Check completed and cleared by OPENLANE / ADESA is mandatory

Salary is $18-20 per hour and benefits are company paid
