Position Overview :
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Developer to join our team in Toronto. As a Senior Developer, Candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the application, need to quickly learn and acquire knowledge, leveraging the strong technical expertise to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java, Spring boot, and Microservices.
- Work with Docker & Kubernetes.
- Utilize Oracle or MS SQL for database management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in software development, with a focus on Java, Spring boot, and Microservices.
- Exposure to Capital Markets application systems
- Proficiency in Oracle or MS SQL.
- Should be well versed with Jenkins + CIAD + BitBucket.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
- Hands-on experience in developing an application from scratch.
Preferred Skills :
- Working knowledge in python is a good to have.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and integration.
