BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER- WAREHIOUSE &SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES

The Director of warehouse and Supply chain services will be responsible for the management of our operating buildings that provide warehouse solution, Transloading, special projects that they will be operating profitable and at max capacity.

The individual will work with the VP of operations across Canada including Sales to understand the business requirements based on each specific building needs.

He will sell the suite of services we offer as part of our value proposition to the customers. The individual must work independently to target new business opportunities, and also liase with Sales Team as the subject matter expert.

The individual will also have the responsibility to ensure current customers that we offer warehouse solutions receive based on their agreement annual increases.

The role will report directly to the CCO of Fastfrate group.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage Fastfrate group warehouses from a commercial standpoint .
  • Deliver targeted results including maximizing bottom line profitability my creating synergies..
  • Develop and implement lead sourcing strategies to attract the right customers.
  • Build template and questionnaire to ensure we cover all aspects of customer needs and cost the opportunity properly.
  • Work with pricing group to speed up pricing requirements.
  • Benchmarking and adapting industry best practices to drive competitive value proposition.
  • Sales alignment with Sales team across all groups as a subject matter expert
  • Lead implementation of supply chain / warehouse for customer on boarding
  • Ensure all warehouses always operating at max capacity.
  • Hit Budget Expectation
  • During downtime must sell all other lines of business
  • Develops and maintains working relationships across the Fastfrate group of companies.

Requirements :

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Identifying Sales Prospects for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects
  • Work with all departments through on boarding of secured business
  • All other duties as assigned by VP of Sales
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, WMS
  • Communication Skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies aimed at growth expectations.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
  • MUST have experience in supply / demand and competitive landscape.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience negotiating terms and conditions including customer contracts.
