The Knowledge Management Analyst enables the effective collection, storage, organization, and retrieval of information by working with teams to understand their needs and implement solutions.
The incumbent provides best practices and training for the solutions while ensuring the streamlining of operations.
What you'll get to do :
- Create and maintain knowledge management-related documentation, identifying issues, providing recommendations into governance and developing procedures as needed
- Act as the day-to-day resource supporting Coast Capital's intranet (myCoast) end users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions to facilitate the gathering and storing of document knowledge and streamline operations (i.
e., creating and configuring SharePoint sites, developing workflows, coding VBA macros, etc.)
- Create reports and highly visual dashboards to give end users the information they need to make decisions.
- Identify end-user training needs and both develop and facilitate training sessions for individuals or groups on knowledge management solutions to enable the effective use of the solution (i.
e. training on the utilization of a parameterized SharePoint solution)
- Review and investigate queries from knowledge management solution users, providing guidance as possible and engaging subject matter experts where needed
- Lead and support the execution of projects and activities related to the Knowledge Management space.
Who are we looking for?
- High School and a Diploma
- 4 - 6 years of professional experience and at least 1 year working with content management systems.
- Solid experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience managing intranet platforms
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Advanced Knowledge of Excel formulas and VBA macros
- Solid business acumen
- Communication and analytical skills
