Who are we looking for :

We are seeking a Bilingual Business Analyst in Ottawa, ON, Canada, with a strong business acumen in the Supply Chain domain.

The ideal candidate boasts a minimum of 3 years of hands-on expertise in the Supply Chain field, are proficient in both French and English to facilitate seamless communication and have a proven track record of excelling in a consultant role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions and improvements.
  • Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and current systems.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and timely issue resolution.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering insights to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Perform quality assurance testing to validate that the software meets specified requirements and functions as intended.
  • Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
  • Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams during the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze user feedback and system performance data to recommend continuous improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the software solutions align with current standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for business processes, systems, and software functionality.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new software features.

MUST Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within Supply Chain
  • Minimum 3 years in one or more of the following industries : Manufacturing; Energy & Utilities; Service Sector; Construction & Engineering;

Shipping & Harbour Services; Aviation & Defence

  • Minimum 1 year in client-facing roles
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with project management software tools
  • 50% availability for travel, including travel to the US and internationally
  • Legally entitled to work in the country you are applying for
