Junior Fabricator Welder - Concord

Calling all welder / fabricators looking for an immediate contract to hire opportunity in Concord, Ontario!

Responsibilities

What would a typical day as a welder?

• Layout, fit, and fabricate metal using TIG welding techniques
• Openness to cross-train in bending, grinding, and rolling operations
• Assist with operation of other machine shop equipment (e.g. roller, brake press, shear)
• Use precision measuring devices to perform quality control tests
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Work in safe-manner, abiding by all health and safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

• 1-2 years of experience in as a welder / fabricator environment
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong math and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision
• Must possess a high school diploma
