About the Role :

As the Outside Sales Manager - Apparel , you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by identifying and prospecting new leads while uncovering opportunities to enhance their current sourcing strategies.

Your primary focus will be on understanding what potential clients are missing from their existing sourcing partners and demonstrating how our capabilities can fill those gaps.

You will work directly with buyers and sourcing managers, using your expertise to negotiate competitive pricing and develop tailored solutions.

By working closely with our factories, you will ensure we deliver high-quality products and exceptional service, building strong, long-term partnerships.

This role involves a mix of client management and outside sales, requiring face-to-face visits with customers to assess their needs, educate them on our products, and provide solutions that grow their business.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand our current customer base and manage existing customer relationships.
  • Conduct a minimum of 8 face-to-face sales calls per day, educating customers about our products and services while building strong partnerships.
  • Negotiate with buyers and sourcing managers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms, aligning with our manufacturing capabilities and business objectives.
  • Leverage your sourcing experience to drive business growth, optimizing the supply chain to meet customer demands efficiently.
  • Use marketing data and tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursements, and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations from sourcing to final delivery.
  • Identify new market trends and sourcing opportunities to expand our product offerings.
  • Provide insights and strategies to mitigate risks and overcome challenges in the supply chain.
  • Maintain professionalism, tact, and sensitivity to portray PFD Enorsia in a positive manner.
  • Attend meetings and seminars to expand industry knowledge.
  • Occasionally assist in other territories as required by management.

Qualifications :

  • A North American undergraduate degree in a related field, such as Apparel or Textile Design, Merchandising, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of North American experience in sales and apparel sourcing, with significant experience negotiating with buyers and sourcing managers.
  • Over 5 years of proven experience in buying apparel and a thorough understanding of the fashion industry, including textiles and supply chain dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
  • Experience in Direct B2B Sales with in-person outreach and client engagement.
  • Proven experience working with suppliers in China, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel as needed, with frequent travel expected, including several hours of driving per day.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot, as well as Microsoft Office programs.
  • High level of integrity, work ethic, and self-motivation with an engaging level of enthusiasm.

Working Conditions :

  • Frequent travel is required to visit customers and attend trade shows.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift items up to 50lbs occasionally.
  • Some weekend travel for trade shows, both in and out of town.
