The Sales Account Executive, a true road warrior with a growth mindset, and will be responsible for developing and executing key sales growth to achieve the company's financial targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for hunting new business and build incremental revenue and market share with key accounts, new and existing, in North America.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Collaborate with Design and Product Development to support new product introductions.
- Work with Management and Product Development to optimize the product range, provide market insight to develop a pricing strategy to maximize sales and profitability.
Key Criteria / Requirements :
- A minimum of 10 years of related work experience in Sales in the apparel industry (sleepwear experience a definite asset), consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- In-depth knowledge of Wholesale channels working with national chains, mid-tier and traditional department stores, mass market experience is a must
- Existing relationships with retailers such as; Costco USA, Target, Nordstrom Rack, BJs, Price Mart, Bass Pro, Tractor Supply, Farm and Fleet, Cracker Barrel, Academy, Kroger, Lowes, Home Depot a major asset
- Experience in forecasting and planning sales budgets and achieving Corporate Financial Goals.
- Available for extensive travel in North America
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- A tenacious, take-charge person who is dynamic, results-driven and a self-starter
- Strategic mindset, business savvy, creativity and the ability to negotiate in a professional manner and to collaborate at all levels and across functions
- High emotional IQ with a solid interpersonal and communication skills that instil confidence in others
