Senior Analyst, International Tax

Baker Tilly Windsor is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our Tax Group. We offer a unique space to come in to work every day, physically or remotely, either at our brand new office located in the heart of Walkerville or through our robust remote work environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

• Working closely with Tax Partners and other senior tax staff, to develop and implement tax planning assignments for clients.
• Performing technical research and documenting tax plan recommendations.
• Preparing individual and corporate tax returns.
• Collaborating with peers and senior management on file planning and completion within time constraints.
• Providing personal, attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships.
• Identifying client service opportunities.

A successful candidate will have :

• Successful completion of the Common Final Evaluation (CFE), at a minimum holding a status of CPA-in-waiting.
• Enrolled or willingness to enroll in the CICA In-Depth Tax program.
• 1-2 years of experience in a professional services firm.
• Tax experience considered an asset.
• Experience leading junior staff on client deliverables.
• Self-motivation with an ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions.
• Strong proficiency in client-focused service.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
