Job Title : Cloud Architect Principal

As a Cloud Architect, you possess proficiency across multiple technologies and demonstrate expertise in crafting diverse cloud solutions, spanning multi-account landing zones, hybrid network integrations, migrations, cloud-native applications, microservices, and data streaming.

What You’ll Do

  • Guide clients on enterprise architecture landscapes, encompassing technology, cloud, data, security, and integrations.
  • Design large-scale IT solutions, driving business transformation.
  • Assess and mitigate IT risks, focusing on security, compliance, operational efficiency, revenue, and growth.
  • Develop technology strategies to optimize IT effectiveness, particularly in business application integration.
  • Craft target state solution architectures, conducting gap analyses, and contributing to solution strategy and roadmap development.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with clients and business analysts.
  • Assist in estimating project work effort.

What You’ll Bring

  • Mastery in Hybrid cloud solution architecture frameworks, driving business transformation.
  • Proficiency in Public Cloud (Azure is a must) and Hybrid Cloud solutions.
  • Experience in application lifecycle management (ALM) and DevOps automation, including CI / CD pipeline architecture, utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Bicep.
  • Experience in API Integrations.
  • Experience spanning diverse businesses, domains, and industries. Experience in Public Sector is an asset.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable enterprise application architectures.
  • Leadership in crafting technology strategies across multiple product lines.
  • Holistic thinking and comprehension of Enterprise Architecture, security and compliance (e.g., PCI), and data architecture assessments.
  • Aptitude for identifying gaps and risks in processes and systems.
  • Development of enterprise-level governance guidance, coupled with experience in C-level stakeholder presentations.

Hybrid / In office : We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations / requirements

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expectedbase salary pay range is $118,000 to $150,000.

In addition, there is potential for a12%discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
