Crown Reach Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced and reliable Crown Reach Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team in Brampton, ON.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating Crown Reach forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the efficient and safe handling of products while maintaining accuracy in inventory control.

• Pay Rate : up to $21.25 / hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a Crown Reach Forklift to load, unload, and move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Stack and store materials in designated areas using the forklift in compliance with safety guidelines and best practices
• Assist in accurate inventory counts by verifying product quantities and ensuring items are correctly placed and recorded in the inventory system.
• Perform routine cycle counts and report any inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that products are properly handled and labeled.
• Help in staging and organizing products for outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized by maintaining storage areas, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure that the Crown Reach Forklift is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Follow all company safety protocols and industry regulations to prevent workplace accidents or injuries.
• Participate in ongoing safety training sessions to stay current on best practices and compliance requirements
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to prioritize tasks and meet production goals.

Qualifications :

• Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
• Previous experience operating a Crown Reach Forklift or similar equipment is required.
• Forklift certification is required (Crown Reach Forklift experience required).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to weight pounds.
• Comfortable with standing, bending, and operating a forklift for extended periods.
