Thenwe have the perfect job for you! Our client a local manufacturer islooking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Milton team.

This is an ongoing fulltime position with expectation of permanenthire!

Inthis role you will be responsible for accurately receiving andprocessing invoices and ensuring everything is in order. Yourmeticulous attention to detail will be critical to our client.

Youwill also be responsible for handling customer service inquiriesrelated to invoices as well as general questions / concerns.

You willneed to have excellent communication skills and a friendlydemeanor.

Salary :

$23.00$25.00 per hour temporary topermanent.

Hoursof Work :

Monday toFriday 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm(FullTime)

Responsibilities

• Reviewingand processing invoices using Sage Accpac with a high degree ofaccuracy.
• Reconciling processed workby verifying entries and comparing system reports tobalances.
• Charging expenses toaccounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice / expensereports.
• Paying vendors schedulingand preparing cheques and resolving purchase order contract invoiceor paymentdiscrepancies.
• Maintainingaccounting ledgers by verifying and posting accounttransactions.
• Responding to customerinquiries about invoices in a timely and professionalmanner.
• Collaboratingwith other departments to ensure that all invoices are processedcorrectly.
• Maintaining accuraterecords of all invoices andpayments.
• Updating both paper andelectronic customer files and databases ensuringaccuracy.
• Daily handling of phonecalls emails mail andcalendar / schedule.
• Additional tasksasrequired.

Requirements

• Experiencein a similar role is anasset.
• Experience with SAGE AccPacis a strong asset but notrequired.
• A high degree of accuracyand attention to detail.
• Awillingness to learn and a high level of demonstrated reliabilityis important!
• Strong organizationalskills.
• Excellent communicationskills.
• A customerfocusedmindset.
• The ability to work well ina small team.
• Above average dataentry and computerskills.
