Junior Project Accountant

We are currently seeking a Project Accountant to join our team of experienced professionals located at our office in Richmond, BC.

Responsibilities may include :

• Perform project accounting function including opening (closing) projects withing the accounting system
• Work with project Managers to prepare timely and accurate customer billings and supporting documentation
• Engage in WIP process including activities such as project forecast, WIP reconciliation, project cost transfers, change order updates, and adjustments
• Assist in collection of receivables
• Works with transactions involving multi-currency and tax considerations
• Assist in responding to external audit requirements

Qualifications Required :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Math, Economics, or college equivalent
• Extensive experience populating and analyzing financial and project data using Excel
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV software would be beneficial but is not required
• Experience in a professional services business would be beneficial but is not required
