Senior Project Manager (Hybrid)

What you'll do :

• Partners with Executive Sponsors and stakeholders to define the project scope, critical success factors and expected business outcomes, adapting to both Agile and Waterfall requirement gathering.
• Establishes a Project Charter outlining projects goals, objectives, risks, resource needs, roles, responsibilities, crucial milestones, accommodating both Agile (epics, features) and Waterfall (phases, deliverables) frameworks.
• Leads and manages delivery activities throughout the project lifecycle and Agile iterations, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and other factors necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Removes blockers and resolves issues swiftly, while ensuring that backlog prioritization or task scheduling is responsive to business needs.
• Generates regular reports on the progress (scheduling, resourcing, budgets, conflicting agendas, issues and escalations) to the relevant stakeholder groups.
• Coaches, mentors, and motivates team members, fostering an empowered, collaborative environment using Agile practices (retrospectives, feedback loops) or Waterfall team management techniques (performance reviews, task delegation).
• Contributes to the Value Delivery Centre of Excellence, fostering continuous improvement in project and Agile delivery.

What you bring :

• 10+ years of experience in Project Management and Agile Scrum Mastery, leading complex or challenging initiatives or a combination of project management education, experience and Credit Union, Banking or Financial Services experience
• 10+ years' experience in a Financial Services and / or Information Technology environment.
• Extensive experience in running projects and agile ceremonies / sprints effectively, on-time, within budget and to the stakeholders' satisfaction.
• Project Management Institute certification (CAPM or PMP) or equivalent project management certification.
• Recognized Scrum Master certification is preferred.

Prospera offers a total compensation package of base pay plus incentives that is market competitive and reviewed against the market annually.

Starting salary is normally targeted around the middle of the posted salary range, and is determined based on the successful candidate's knowledge, experience and internal equity.
