Emterra Environmental is in partnershipwith Michael’s Trucking Ltd. whois looking for two Full-Time Front-End Drivers to jointhe Surrey Team?

Drivers are responsible for ensuring their route iscompleted on schedule and that Waste, Recycling and or Organics is collected,transported, and disposed of in the prescribed manner.

This positionreports to the Route Supervisor.

Job Duties :

• Performs pre / post-trip inspections of thevehicle assigned to drive
• Communicates with customers anddispatchers in a professional manner
• Ability to perform physically demandingjob (pushing and pulling bins when required)
• Carries out general safety practices of acommercial driver
• Carries out instructions from dispatch ina timely and professional manner

Requirements :

• Minimum requirements Class 3 license withclean abstract
• Must have license to drive manual truck
• Preferably 1-2 years’ experience
• Strong knowledge of Local Areas roadwaysa definite asset
• Experience with front ends, roll-offs,and dump trucks preferred
• Experience with crane-truck and forklift is considered an asset
• Excellent time management andcommunication skills
• Flexibility with work shifts and ability to workovertime and occasional weekend

All drivers get$3.50 / hr incentive bonus after probation.

Hours areMon-Fri with possible weekends, start times vary but shifts are typically 9 -11hrs.
