The Managing Director is responsible for the overall operation of their assigned group with respect to staff budget planning, client P&L and new business development within existing client base and outside of current businesses.
You are the key client lead on all your businesses and will be responsible for demonstrating the value of our multi-disciplinary offerings in order to drive the Company’s success as well as your clients.
As a member of the Executive Committee, you will actively participate in, and in some cases lead, the development and maintenance of standards (systems, policy and procedures) including embracing the company vision, instilling our values, corporate culture and talent management.
Specific Duties :
- As key senior contact on all client businesses within your group you will elevate all critical partnerships
- Identify at risk relationships and address issues to manage client expectations
- Assume fiscal / financial accountability on all client businesses within group and cross- functional groups
- Increase revenue potential of existing client base
- Collaborate with leaders of SBU’s to generate organic growth opportunities
- You will have creative and strategic involvement in all areas of clients’ business and ensure a data-led environment
- Ensure integration of SBU disciplines and functions within your group (i.e. Programmatic, Search, Social, Marketing Science)
- Build and manage your group staffing and salary plans
- Talent management within your group; train and mentor director level, foresight to take their career to next level, succession planning
- Lead client education seminars, creative council initiatives (award shows,
- Generate and lead new business opportunities / pitches
- Nurture relationships with Global counterparts (where necessary / appropriate)
Developmental Training :
- Financial accountability for company and Partner Agency
- Increase revenue potential of existing client base within group and Agency
- Further the growth of key media professionals within the group
- Participate / Lead in Company run projects / initiatives (creative council, client training sessions, agency training sessions
- Develop / build relationships with Global counterparts (where necessary / appropriate)
- Embrace and communicate corporate culture amongst department
- Foster strong relationships with key senior clients and reps
- Expert on all emerging media
- Responsible for new business development outside of current businesses
