About the role

We are currently looking for a Manager, Talent Acquisition Corporate functions, to join our national talent acquisition team.

The desired candidate must show engaging and positive leadership, lead by example by exceeding expectations, and support the continuous development of their team.

As the Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead a team of skilled and passionate Talent Acquisition Consultants responsible for the complete recruitment process.

They will rely on you to ensure the smooth running of daily activities, provide coaching, and promote a culture of positive engagement and innovation.

Your work will also have a significant impact on the development of talent acquisition strategies, the implementation of programs, the optimization of processes, systems and using key performance indicators to support team delivery.

You will also help your team achieve excellent results through your concern for the development of team members.

What you will accomplish with us :

Support the development of team members and track their overall progress towards achieving operational goals and their personal goals.

Contribute to the improvement of processes and established practices with a view to continuous improvement.

Support the team to leverage systems and technology and thus offer an excellent experience for candidates and managers while improving the quality of hired talent.

Lead projects related to the TA & HR strategic plan.

Have a holistic understanding of the external employment conditions for the sector and use market analytics to inform decision making.

Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure your team meets their business needs in timely hiring of quality talent.

Partner with internal employer brand team ensuring talent attraction strategies are informed by their expertise.

Build impactful recruitment strategies that support our hiring goals.

Track and analyze performance indicators to assess team performance, make strategic decisions, and improve processes.

Leverage observations and work closely with the team responsible for the talent acquisition strategy to determine measures that will achieve results.

Collaborate with other HR teams (advisory function, talent management and compensation).

Be an ambassador for our employer brand and support all initiatives aimed at enhancing the profile of Intact Financial Corporation as an employer and a destination of choice for top talent and experts.

What you bring to the table :

Seven to ten years of related experience, preferably in a complex organization, including three to five years of people management experience.

Experience with recruitment strategies for corporate function (finance, investment, marketing, etc. ) for professional and management positions.

Effective communication and relationship management.

Focus on continuous improvement.

Ability to adapt and promote change management.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

Analytical ability : constantly think about the best way to measure results and transform data into meaningful measures.

Experience with Workday as a ATS and HRIS systems would be an asset.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required as this position requires regular interaction with colleagues across Canada.
