The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers academic programs that meet the needs of industry in Applied Mechanics, Machine Design, Thermofluid and Energetics, Vibration, Automation and Control, Computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD / CAM), Forming and Manufacturing processes. High-caliber laboratories are available for hands-on teaching in each of these areas of expertise.

The mechanical engineering department at ÉTS is recruiting professors who specialize in mechanical engineering. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research and teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs.
