Manager, Fund Reporting - 14 Month Contract

About the Client

Our client is looking to hire a Manager, Fund Reporting, for a 14-Month Contract.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare investment accounting entries and complete fund reporting
• Oversee and review the month-end / quarter-end accounting close process
• Improve upon processes and create operational efficiencies, ensuring scalability and compliance with financial and operational controls
• Update documentation of policies and operational procedures manuals
• Prepare financial statement note and reporting schedule for quarter-end and year-end
• Assist in process improvement
• Assist with internal and external audit as required

About You

• 8+ years of experience in fund accounting or fund financial reporting
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Experience in Fund Accounting
• Experience in asset management or financial services operations
• Strong working knowledge of accounting
• Accounting designation is an asset
• Advanced proficiency with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong communications skills
• Attention to detail, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
