We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst for oneof our clients in the mining and metalindustry.
Whatis in it foryou :
Hourly salary of $60 to $69 based onexperience.
6month contract withstrong potential for permanentemployment.
Fulltime position(4045 hours per week) with overtime during monthend / yearendperiods.
Hybrid position : Work 2days per week at the office.

Responsibilities :
Review and prepare consolidated financialstatements.
Postmonth / quarter / halfyear and yearend consolidation entries inHFM.
Review intercompanyeliminations and coordinate with business units across theorganization to resolvevariances.
Liaise with variousfinance teams such as FP&A Accounting Tax Treasury etc. toresolve consolidation queries.
Participate in and support various monthly / quarterly / halfyearly andyearly consolidation activities of productgroups.
Review and submit CountryStatistical Survey reports for Canada UKetc.
Extract reports / data fromHFM & SmartView.
Maintainstandard operating procedurefiles.
Monitor submissions fromlocal entities (process monitorreport).
Continuouslystandardize / improve processes with an innovative mindset byleveraging data analytics and digitalsolutions.
Collaborate withvarious teams across globallocations.
Whatyou will need tosucceed :
Bachelor s degree in accounting orfinance.
Accounting certificationsuch as CPA or equivalent.
12years of experience in consolidation andreporting.
SAP experience isconsidered beneficial.
Solidunderstanding of IFRS / GAAP.
Proficient in Excel and databasemanagement.
Experience withHyperion Financial Management (HFM) ispreferred.
Analytical andproblemsolving abilities including proficiency in varianceanalysis.
Strong interpersonaland organizational skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tightdeadlines.
Capacity tocollaborate with teams across multiple countries and timezones.
Bilingual in English andFrench (spoken and written) is anasset.
