Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift

Assembler - Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift Location : Bolton, ON, Canada ON-SITE / IN-PERSON opportunity - remote / hybrid are not available.

Must be able to commute to Bolton / have own transportation as there is no public transportation available. Starting wage for this role is $18.

99 / hr with raises every August! How You Will Make an Impact : The Assembler - Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for building and assembly of a multitude of pieces as well as inspecting and ensuring truck bodies are manufactured to sales agreement, engineering drawings, standards, and specifications. The Nuts and Bolts :

• Read and interpret : orders and specifications, blueprints, instructions and labels which may contain hazardous warnings and cautions
• Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using a variety of saws, sheers and cutters
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or fasteners
• Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools
• Perform set up of machine and preventative maintenance as required
• Inspect and ensure all units are manufactured to sales agreement, Morgan's engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Conduct in-process quality audits and review standards and specification requirements with production supervisor when errors or defects are detected.
• Direct and coordinate the quality process, provide continuous quality improvements, and ensure the integrity of Morgan's product quality, manufacturing, certification and release activities.
• Perform safety and quality checks
• Work and adhere to all safety policies Required Credentials :
• Previous experience in a quality control / quality assurance position.

Prefer 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or a quality assurance environment.

• Clear and effective communication Skills.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and follow established safety and procedures.
• Computer experience using Microsoft Office.
• Must be 18 years old Preferred Credentials (but not required) :
• Previous experience in manufacturing
• Previous experience working on truck bodies
• Construction experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED You Must Be Able to :
• This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear).

The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel;

and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds.

The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces).

The team member is expected to perform repetitive tasks using their hands, and have the ability to climb ladders and / or work in high places.
