Description de poste
Our client, a prominent investment firm recognized as one of the fastest-growing in Canada, currently manages $4 billion in assets and is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team. While working on the public fund team, you will also support the Finance and Accounting team.
Role Overview :
- Working on the public fund team, reporting to the Controller
- Not day-to-day fund accounting duties, more so the reviewing of the work
- Full cycle accounting, monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal, regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Work with external fund administrator, auditors and the CFO
- Prepare financial information for annual, semi-annual and quarterly reporting
- CPA or near designation, OR any foreign equivalent designation
- IFRS working knowledge
- 3-5 years fund accounting experience
- Would be open to Big 4 first movers from fund investment team
- Strong communication, can work in a fast paced environment, and ability to prioritize
