Your Opportunity

BDO Digital is looking for a highly motivated Senior Technical Sales Specialist to focus on solutioning our range of Microsoft Security technology and advisory services with enterprise and mid-market clients.

This individual will be a key contributor to advancing the growth of our Microsoft associated services revenue within our Cybersecurity practice.

Your responsibilities

  • Own the technical pre-sales needed to meet and exceed the annual targets assigned by BDO Digital's leadership team
  • Engage clients in technical conversations and demos to accelerate opportunities that leverage Microsoft Security services
  • Shape clients' security solutions and architectural approaches to drive POCs and MVPs
  • Extend a proficient level of technical expertise related to all technology and advisory solutions within BDO Digital's Cybersecurity practice
  • Identify new opportunities within client engagements and effectively hand-off for pursuit
  • Collaborate with business development executives and BDO Digital's technology practices within sales cycles
  • Work alongside the Microsoft Security solutions team within sales cycles
  • Maintain and grow technical expertise on the latest and greatest Microsoft Security services

  • You meet and exceed sales targets and other supporting metrics in your client segments and industries of focus
  • You are a trusted technical advisor to clients and help them shape impactful security solutions
  • You understand your clients' industry use cases, technical challenges, and opportunities
  • You proactively engage directly with clients and the Microsoft team
  • You collaborate with peers and influencers in a large professional services firm setting
  • You embody BDO's core values through all aspects of your work

Your experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of proven technical pre-sales experience selling technology and / or professional services, with track record of consistently exceeding annual targets
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft's suite of security services, including enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud security, identity & access, information protection, SIEM & XDR, and AI for cybersecurity
  • Strong experience selling into enterprise and mid-market clients across industries
  • Proven ability to establish client relationships at multiple levels and orchestrate through complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Existing rapport and previous experience collaborating with the Microsoft team
  • SC-900, SC-200, AZ-500 certifications preferred
