Community Foot Care Nurse- KARP Home Care

Location : Surrey, Richmond, Delta, Vancouver Area
Status : Part Time
Start Date : As soon as possible
In this role you will :
- Be responsible for foot care assessments and consultations
- Aiding in the reduction of corn and callus
- Execute preventative screening and education
- Educate and administer Diabetic Foot Care
- Clean and sterilize all Foot Care Instruments
- Travel to clients' home across the lower mainland to provide treatments
Qualifications :
- Be a registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of BC
- Completion of an approved Advanced Foot Care Training Program
- Ability to provide own foot care tools and supplies
- Ability to follow best practices for inflectional control, organize work, and implement a plan of care
- Experience in LTC is an asset
- Completion of Current First Aide and CPR certification
- A valid driver’s License and willingness to travel around the lower mainland
