Community Foot Care Nurse- KARP Home Care

Location : Surrey, Richmond, Delta, Vancouver Area

Status : Part Time

Start Date : As soon as possible

In this role you will :

Be responsible for foot care assessments and consultations
Aiding in the reduction of corn and callus
Execute preventative screening and education
Educate and administer Diabetic Foot Care
Clean and sterilize all Foot Care Instruments
Travel to clients' home across the lower mainland to provide treatments

Qualifications :

Be a registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of BC

Completion of an approved Advanced Foot Care Training Program

Ability to provide own foot care tools and supplies

Ability to follow best practices for inflectional control, organize work, and implement a plan of care

Experience in LTC is an asset

Completion of Current First Aide and CPR certification

A valid driver’s License and willingness to travel around the lower mainland
