Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Building Automation and Mechanical Sales Person to join our dynamic sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for selling our state-of-the-art building automation and mechanical systems and services to commercial clients.
Your primary focus will be to understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and successfully close sales to contribute to the company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including property managers, facility directors, and building owners.
- Product Knowledge : Develop an in-depth understanding of our building automation and mechanical systems and services, keeping up to date with industry trends and advancements.
- Solution Development : Collaborate with our technical team to design and propose customized solutions that address the specific needs and challenges of each client.
- Sales Prospecting : Identify and target potential clients by researching and networking within the industry, attending trade shows, and leveraging other lead generation strategies.
- Sales Presentations : Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to effectively communicate the value and benefits of our solutions.
- Quoting and Pricing : Prepare accurate and competitive project proposals and quotations, ensuring profitability and alignment with the client's budget.
- Negotiation and Closing : Skillfully negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure successful deals. Close sales and drive revenue growth.
- Account Management : Manage existing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
- Sales Reporting : Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions using the company's CRM system.
- Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the building automation or mechanical industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
