Looking for your next Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator job with room to grow? We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator to join our client’s team.
This position reports to the Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, bank reconciliations, GST remittances, and corporate income tax payments.
Must have a strong knowledge of debits and credits. What We Offer :

- Work Hours : Hours : Monday - Friday : 8 : 00am to 5pm OR 7 : 30am to 4 : 30pm
- Salary : $45000-55000
- Permanent Full time, with benefits

What you will do :
- Record and classify all financial transactions of the company.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure they match the company's books.
- Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to help management make informed decisions.
- Manage the company's accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing customers, tracking payments, and ensuring that bills are paid on time.
- Assist with creating and managing budgets and forecasts for the company.
- GST remittances
- Corporate income tax payments
- Participate in physical inventories on a quarterly basis
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve issues or answer questions related to financial transactions.
- Assist with other financial tasks as needed.
Who you are :
- 2-3 years’ experience as a bookkeeper / accounting coordinator or in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have advanced knowledge of MS Excel including - pivot tables and vlookups
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be a continuous learner, capable of thriving in changing, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
