Senior Product Manager - Data Services

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and management of our data products for Large and Key Accounts.

These products are built using Moneris' unique data set (over 3 billion transactions per year) to empower our customers to make business and policy decisions informed with data.

You will collaborate with teams across the organization, working closely with technology, sales and marketing, while also connecting directly with merchants to understand their evolving commerce needs.

You will be the voice of the customer for our Large and Key Account segment, ensuring that Moneris' data services are focused on delivering products that helps these customers translate complex data into actionable insights.

Location : You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Director, Product - Data Solutions

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

• Work directly with Director of Product on the vision and roadmap, setting OKRs that align with enterprise goals.
• Define the value and develop business case to support Product recommendations
• Lead a dedicated Agile team as the Senior Product Manager, collaborating with teams, including technology, designer and operations to develop functionalities that enhance user satisfaction and drive engagement and user satisfaction.
• Develop solution concepts to address opportunities, gaps and requirements to maintain competitiveness of product offering, consulting on concepts with data and technology teams
• Focus on optimizing the user experience for clients, ensuring that products are intuitive, delivered efficiently, and meets their daily needs.
• Use data-driven approaches to inform decision-making, product development, enhancements, and retiring outdated or redundant features
• Manage all elements of the product lifecycle incorporating user feedback, internal stakeholder feedback and market trends.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in data products in the payment and retail sectors to change and improve our offerings.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of Product Management experience
• Technical understanding of data science, analytics and engineering
• Experience using data and insights to inform product development, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and a metrics-oriented mindset.
• Understanding of model / ML / AI implementations.
• Experience commercializing and scaling data as a product.
• At least 1 year experience with Agile methodologies and best practices
• Experience in strategic planning, project lifecycle management, portfolio management, compliance, and change management.
• Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners.
• Experience in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business is an asset.
