Position Overview :

We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer / Junior Project Manager to join our Calgary team. This hybrid role is ideal for a self-motivated professional eager to develop both their technical design skills and project management capabilities.

You’ll work alongside senior engineers to create high-quality designs, be the face of the firm as a Project Manager, and ensure projects meet client expectations.

Responsibilities : Electrical Design

Electrical Design

• Develop detailed electrical designs and layouts using AutoCAD and / or Revit, including power distribution, lighting, and communication systems.
• Prepare load calculations, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines to ensure accurate and cohesive project documentation.
• Assist in reviewing and modifying existing electrical drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance with codes.

Project Management

• Lead projects, representing the company with some of our most important clients.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, helping to maintain schedules and manage resources.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and assist with status reports.

Qualifications

Education : Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field. P.Eng.

designation is preferred, or currently in process.

• Experience : 4 - 8 years of relevant experience in electrical design, with some project management experience for ICI projects.
• Software : Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; experience with Revit is highly desirable. Familiarity with project management tools (e.

g., MS Project) is beneficial.

Skills : Strong understanding of relevant Alberta Building Codes; excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail;

strong organizational skills; and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
