The Opportunity :

Our amazing client is a global leader in innovative water features, and is in search of a part-time Human Resources Manager to join their team in a permanent capacity.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of their HR department, supporting various functions essential to our organizational success.

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing candidates and assisting with interviews.
  • Prepare employment agreements and oversee background checks for final candidates.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to support management decisions.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new and returning employees.
  • Coordinate employee offboarding processes and update records accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for employee advancement and assist in policy development.
  • Coordinate training initiatives and maintain training records.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
  • Provide proactive solutions to daily challenges and assist in performance discussions.
  • Support the development and management of the performance appraisal process.
  • Assist in promoting a positive employee-employer relationship and engagement initiatives.

What You'll Need :

  • Post Secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience, preferably in a warehouse / manufacturing environment.
  • Professional Human Resources Designation preferred (CHRP).
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws (ESA, OHSA, Human Rights Code), and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze HR issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in influencing and negotiating.
  • Agility in managing varying HR projects and deliverables (strategic & tactical).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and sensitivity handling.
