Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadershi p : Lead and oversee the entire life cycle of wood frame and future concrete construction projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standard
- Team Managemen t : As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for assembling and leading a high-performing project team.
Foster collaboration, provide guidance, and motivate team members to achieve project goal
- Strategic Plannin g : Develop and implement strategic project plans, considering all aspects of construction, including design, engineering, procurement, and construction phase
- Stakeholder Engagemen t : Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and transparent communication throughout the project duration
- Risk Managemen t : Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project deliver
- Quality Assuranc e : Uphold and enforce high-quality standards in all project deliverables. Implement and monitor quality control processes to guarantee the excellence of the final product.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a minimum of one successfully completed construction projects in Canada
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary project te
- am.In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including regulations, codes, and best practices related to wood frame residential projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. BCIT background an as set
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
