Job Summary

We are seeking a Safety Engineer to join the This CompanyLoss Prevention organization (LP) which is the corporate safetyorganization within This Company.

We provide both daytoday infieldoccupational and process safety support to This Company operationsas well as centralized technical support and consulting function.

Our field offices are located in Abqaiq Riyadh Ras Tanura DhahranUdhailiyah Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan) and Tanajib.

Throughthese offices LP provides its services to all This Companyfacilities and departments that are located throughout theKingdom.

Your primary role as a Safety Engineer(Loss Prevention Engineer) is to provide daily support to companyfacilities and departments helping them effectively implement theThis Company Safety Management System (Occupational & ProcessSafety) expectations and associated programs as well as assuringcompliance to all company safety requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Facilitating the implementation of the ThisCompany Safety Management System along with its objectives andexpectations by developing associated safety processes andparticipating in selfassessments.
• Conductingfield inspections and reviews to evaluate compliance with companyand international codes and standards identifying safety concernsand formulating practical and costeffective correctiveactions.
• Identifying evaluating recommendingactions and following up on critical safety tasks and controlmethodologies related to operational safety practices such as workat height isolation / LOTO permit to work hydrogen sulfide confinedspace entry and excavations.
• Participating insafety studies and activities utilizing risk assessment andmitigation methodologies including PHAs HAZOPs JSAs incidentinvestigations compliance reviews and insurance surveys.
• Responding to emergency situations and incidentsproviding technical assistance and advice during or after regularworking hours.
• Participating in worksitecontractor safety management activities including contractorselection and prequalification monitoring work site compliance andmeasuring performance.
• Supporting thereporting classification and investigation of all incidentsparticipating in incident investigations to determine root causesand making proper recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Delivering Loss Preventionspecific training to employeescontractors and outside parties.
• Mentoringother Loss Prevention personnel.

Requirements :

• his role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Hold a BA / BS degreefrom an Accredited Institution along with 7 years of experience inareas such as operations and maintenance plant engineeringconstruction turnaround and inspection safety program developmentprocess safety and audits / assessments within the oil and gaspetrochemicals or related industries.
• Alternatively possess 15 years of relevant industryexperience in the oil and gas petrochemicals or related industrieswith a strong track record of delivering results in theaforementioned areas without a degree.
• Excellent communication skills in English capable ofeffectively communicating with peers and management.
• Ability to produce clear and concise oral and writtenreports in English.
