Cascadia Metals seeks an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role will be permanent, full-time, and will represent our Head Office's Delta location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a specific territory and will, therefore, work from the Delta office and travel to existing and potential client bases.

• Highly organized with a strong ability to track, manage, and follow through on details
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently and report to a sales supervisor and management.

Responsibilities :

• Achieving all territory business objectives, including sales goals and growth
• Developing, implementing and executing a territory business plan
• Prospecting / cold calling for additional business to create new customer relationships
• Maintaining existing customer partnerships, building strong and lasting relationships

with new customers

• Delivering superior customer experience to achieve account retention and growth
• Identifying and reporting market trends and competitor information with sales team members
• Maintaining a level of knowledge of products
• Supporting inside sales team where required
• Acting as a role model for Cascadia Metals standards, values and behaviour

Requirements :

• Vehicle ownership (driver's abstract may be requested)
• The ability for overnight travel (during weekdays)
• A post-secondary degree and previous experience in the steel industry are considered an asset
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior sales experience
