The Role
The main duties of the Outside Sales Representative are to prospect for new clients and continue to forge relationships with existing client accounts. The successful candidate must be able to hold a Class 5 Driver's license and present a driver's abstract, to drive to prospective clients in the selling of a recycling program. Flexibility is required to be able to travel every Quarter to different provinces for sales meetings.
The Outside Sales Representative is intended to stay updated with the healthcare industry, and chase after new opportunities. Seeking someone with a hunter instinct to drive business in successfully.
The right candidate is a people person who is a strong communicator both orally and written. A customer-centric go-getter. Preference is given to candidates who have a background in the health / medical supply industry or recycling sales .
Responsibilities
- Stay on top of sales initiatives, plans, meetings, prospect lists, KPIs, and marketing initiatives to reach individual quotas
- Develop a robust pipeline of leads in the medical field with decision-makers
- Achieve business growth within own territory
- Maintain existing relationships with current accounts through meetings, hosting of presentations, and sharing of market knowledge
- Converting identified prospect leads to clients through active cold calling, negotiation, and consulting, as well as in-person visits
- Set clear objectives for the week, month, quarter, and year. Strategize with other departments and ensure collaborative growth and brainstorming
- Create monthly territory analysis
- New product penetration
- Demonstrate personal development, being open to coaching and continuous learning
- A prompt responsive rate to clients' emails and calls
Requirements
