One of Canada’s largest fast-growing Food Supply retailers is currently seeking a Full-Time Forklift Shipper operator to start immediately.

PAY RATE : $25.40 / hr.

SCHEDULE : Continental morning shift from 7am to 7pm.

First week : Sunday, Monday, Friday and Saturday

Second week : Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years experienced and licensed as a Raymond Reach (double deep reach), Dock Stocker, Walkie
• Able to work in a freezing environment of -18 (PPE Suits provided but no boots)
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage products and materials using a Forklift Raymond Reach / Dock Stocker and Walkie
• Must be able to operate a Raymond ride on walkie to offload and verify inventory
• Must be able to operate a Deep Reach Raymond Johnston for inventory accurate inventory put away

Duties :

• Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on assigned equipment
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and company standards.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Efficient move product from staging and / or storage areas into railcars, trailers or containers
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are correct and free of damage, report quality variances to your supervisor immediately.
• Keep appropriate records and report to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories.

Ensure proper stock rotation.

• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed. Communicate additional services to customer service representative.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
• Coordinate as necessary with other departments and functions, especially customer service and maintenance.
• Inspecting the quality of processed parts
• Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment
• Work in a fast-paced environment paying close attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as a team member
