As the Sales Support Agent , you will be responsible for providing assistance to the Individual Sales Teams and delivering the highest level of customer service to new and existing clients.

You will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and our valued members.

Other duties will include analyzing, researching, and taking initiative to handle and resolve inquiries in a proactive and client focused manner.

Responsibilities

• Support the day to day administrative activities of the Individual Sales team, including credit card payments and follow-up processes to complete sales of new and existing client policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers by handling their inquiries in an efficient and positive manner.
• Create and maintain reports to measure sales activities; distribute sales leads as necessary and assign follow up tasks.
• Perform outbound follow-up calls to prospects to maximize sales potential.
• Provide back up support to others on the team as necessary.
• Manage group email, voicemail, and fax processes within the sales team.
• Process all departmental incoming mail and fulfill outgoing mail requests.
• Work with external partners to gather required information in support of various lines of business.
• Represent the Individual Sales team in projects, including user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support the Individual Sales teams through evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Bilingualism (French / English) is required.
• 2-3 years' of relevant work experience in business and / or office administration.
• Completion of LLQP and / or previous experience working in the insurance industry is considered an asset.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
• Abillity to multi-task effectively; demonstrate agility in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management skills.
