Senior IT Consultant

Overview :

We are looking for a Senior IT Consultant that has worked in Managed Services who will work on our escalation team which handles all Tier 2 / Tier 3 support for our customers.

This person must have knowledge of all areas of a client network (Microsoft Exchange On-premise, Exchange Online, Switching and Firewalls, WiFi and Windows Server) and ne able to solve complex problems.

We use all the latest and greatest technology and enterprise level gear such as Cisco, SonicWALL & Dell. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, time management skills and enjoy working with people.

This role is based out of our Richmond Hill office but travel to client sites around the GTA will be required from time to time.

Required Technologies :

• Understanding of and experience with a Remote Monitoring Platform N-CentralMicrosoft Windows Server 2008 to the latest versionExperience deploying & troubleshooting Office 365 Exchange OnlineExperience deploying & troubleshooting Microsoft ExchangeExperience deploying & troubleshooting Hyper-V and VMWare environmentsStrong understanding of L3 Routing, L2 VLANs, and VPN technologiesExperience deploying, troubleshooting and managing SonicWALL firewallsExperience deploying, troubleshooting and managing Switches and Firewalls
• Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and BCP tests
• Experience in Private Cloud / Data Center environments
• Experience migrating into public cloud (Azure, AWS, Egnyte, etc)
• Experience working in Hybrid Cloud Environments, where clients utilize on premise infrastructure along with Private and Public Cloud.
