Marvells Broadband Analog groupdesigns physical layer ICs for highspeed fiber optic datacommunication such as Transimpedance Amplifiers (TIAs) and driversfor Silicon Photonic (SiPho) and discrete ElectroabsorptionModulators (EAMs) and MachZehnder Interferometer Modulators (MZMs).
This group is the market leader in delivering TIAs and Drivers forData Center and Telecom markets. We address the bandwidth capacityand power issues faced by cloud computing and mega data centernetworks.
Our world class group leverages our core competencies inadvanced circuit design to solve the worlds everincreasing desireto transmit more data for less power with fewer errors.
We arecontinually first to market in Data Center Metro and LongHaulapplications.
As a member of the design group thecandidate will be responsible for design and validation of FET andBiCMOS circuits for highspeed broadband ICs that serve theseapplication
What You CanExpect
JobResponsibilities
Marvell is seeking an RF andAnalog Design Engineer to contribute to the development ofmultitens of GHz Transimpedance amplifiers TIAs.
These opticalinterface chips are tightly coupled with our highperformanceequalizers. The results of our innovative designs have made ourTIAs best in class for coherent longhaul and metro systems as wellas PAM4 data center systems.
In this role youwill be responsible for :
- Activecircuit design as well as technical leadership.
- Design leading edge transimpedance amplifier designprimarily in Silicon Germanium (SiGe) BiCMOS (Bipolar ComplementaryMetal Oxide Semiconductor) technology where circuit performancewill need to transcend beyond industry leading products.
- Develop transmission line structures and other millimeterwave structures to enable higher performance than would normally beachievable.
- Design of hiperformance broadbandanalog circuits for optical frontend receivers.
- Design of various other analog circuits including linearregulators AGC loop current / voltage sensors bandgapsetc.
- Develop microarchitecture of chips andmajor circuit blocks and guide a team of designers to implementthem. Work with various technologies including SiGe BiCMOS andCMOS.
- Work with other functional groups todrive postsilicon validation qualification transition to massproduction and customer support.
- Work withmanagement and marketing to define parts and translate thespecifications and definitions into circuitimplementation
